This protective headpiece was found in England in the county of Suffolok. In addition to the protective head, during excavations, a lot of funeral implements were discovered. The form of the helmet has a one-piece dome, to which are attached the other smaller parts: the beams, the butt and the mask. The latter completely covers the face, leaving only holes for the eyes, nose and mouth. And on the mask are clearly expressed superciliary arches and mustaches. As decoration, numerous stories from legends and ancient myths are used. Archaeologists assume that King Redwald was the owner of such a skillful helmet.
